    Air App with huge amount of assets




      I'm building an application that uses a huge amount of assets (images,videos,swf's etc.) like 10gb.

      How would i handle this ?


      I want to make the install/update process as seamless as possible.

      I'm also building the application to be able to auto/manual update parts of the assets etc.


      I though about making an installer that will check the server after install and download all the assets.

      When i make an update of the application or change/add assets the app will download only the assets it needs.

      This can get heavy and what happens if a user skips an update or two ..


      I haven't actualy tried just including them and compile, as i read this is not possible bundle assets of this size.


      Anyone who has experienced the same scenario ? solution?
