What ARE those clips?

What CODEC is INSIDE that file? http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037?tstart=0
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below
For Mac http://mediainfo.massanti.com/
Once you know exactly what it is you are editing, report back with that information... and your project setting, and if there is a red line above the video in the timeline, which indicates a mismatch between video and project
Thank you for your reply.
---the vide clip files are .mov files created from PhotoBooth
---the file has been exported into a QuickTime file
There IS a redline on the top of the entire film in the Timeline screen.
I looked into your links about the CODEC issues, but still ahve no understanding on how to actually correct the issue....
What are the Audio specs. of those MOV files?
When played in QT Player, do you get the Audio from those Clips?
If you Dble-click one of those MOV files, to open it in the Source Monitor, do you get the Audio there?
Looking at the Audio porton of those Clips, do you see the Waveform Display, or is that "flatline?"
When you press the Return key (Enter on PC), to Render the Clips, with the red bars above them, the program will Render both the Audio and Video. Does this get your Audio back?
Good luck, and thank you for the additional material.
Go back and re-read the links about "wrapper"
The actual CODEC inside that file is very important
Once you know exactly what you are editing, you might be able to create a project with a setting that matches your file... so there is no red line indicating a mismatch
But... something from "photobooth" may, or may NOT, edit
