    Audio problem

    RGB2CMYK2 Level 1

I am using PrEl 9. Everything's fine but the audio has a bit problem after I imported it. In the first clip, the first sentence " The standard tool..." sounds like "The st-standard tool...". It happened to the second clip too but not for the 3rd and the 4th clip.

May I know the reason why? Thanks!

Can you give us the complete details of the Source Files with the problem, your Project's Preset, and also exactly how you ingested the Clips into PrE?

          Good luck,

The attached screenshot is my project setting. I set it to something else at the beginning. After I "Get Media" from my desktop and dragged the movie clip to the timeline stage, the software autometically fixed my setting to match the video setting.

Then when I started playing the video by clicking "space" key, that problem just happened.  But if I right clicked and chosed "Edit original", the original clip doesn't have that "st-standard" sound like an echo.

Is the Audio in those Clips 48KHz 16-bit, or something else?

When you used Get Media, did you wait for Conforming to complete 100%?

In your Project's Timeline, are there any red lines above the Clips?

If so, I would Render the Timeline, which will Render both Audio & Video on the Timeline.

Also, what is the speed of the HDD, where these Clips are located?

              Good luck,

                Here's the audio info:

Yes I waited until it's completed and there's no red lind above those clips. It's still there even after rendering.

Those clips are located in my hard drive.

OK, that is DD 5.1 SS, which will be AC3.

Did you set up your Project as AVCHD w/ 5.1 Audio?

                  Good luck,

Is that HDD a 7200 RPM (or higher), or is it 5400 RPM?

                    Good luck,

The HDD is 7200RPM. And no I didn't set it as "AVCHD w/ 5.1 channel". Does it matter? Coz when I dragged the video clip on the timeline, it asked me if I want to fix the setting to match the video setting. I clicked "yes".

And I tried to start the new project with "AVCHD w/ 5.1 channel", the problem still there.
