    Digital Background Questions

      Can someone please help me? I new to photoshop and have ordered digital backgrounds that are compatible with adobe photoshop, however am having extreme difficulty using them? Does anyone have any experience using a digital background to change the background of a picture? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

          Hi,

           

          If you want to change the background of any image, You can use various methods depending on the image. But for an overview of the process, you would need to:

           

          1) select the subject which needs to b constacnt and above the background i.e. forground areas , using any of the selection tools viz. Quick selecttion tool(A), Lasso Tool(L) and others.

           

          2) Now  go to Layer Menu > New  > Layer Via copy

           

          3) This will place the subject onto a different layer and keep it safe.

           

          4) From the layer's panel in the right select the background layer.

           

          5) Now apply the Background you have downloaded from the Content's panel. ( just need to drag and drop on the image)

           

          This will change the background in the most simple manner.
