    APE9 - Preset available for Nikon D7000?

    ChBck50

I'm new to APE9, but when I import a clip from my Nikon D7000 it asks me if I'd like to change the preset because it's mismatched.

Is there a preset available for the D7000 that I can download and install?

Otherwise, which existing preset should I use for D7000 video?

      Thanks in advance.

You can try one of the DSLR presets. (They listed by frame size and frame rate, so be sure you select the right one.)

But, if the program is telling you that there's a mismatch between video and project settings, it's usually right. Let it switch your settings.

(You don't say which format you are shooting to -- but the camera shoots in several. It may work best if you shoot one of the 1280x720 modes and use the AVCHD Lite project settings.)

It could well be that there is no project preset that matches that particular camera. And, if not, you can try what the program gives you and see how it goes -- or you can use one of the free conversion programs we recommend to convert the video into a format the program can work with.
