I just downloaded ADE, added a epub book to the library purchased from iTunes for our iPad. I can open the book and navigate from page to page and see the chapters titles on the left, but the pages are blank. I added a free book from samples off of Adobe and can read those pages just fine.
Any suggestions?

ADE doesn't support the iPad or the iTunes store. Sorry!

To put an even finer point on it - the only way to view content purchased in iBooks (iTunes), is to use iBooks.

Does anyone know of a good program to convert epub files into pdf files since husband has the ipad traveling and I would like to read the book via my PC (not a MAC). Thanks.

Other people have asked similar questions about blank pages. I see
references to iPad in your text, and you need to know that ADE does not
support the iPad or iBooks at this time. So, if you're downloading an .epub
book from iTunes, you won't be able to read it on your PC using ADE in any
case (and get blank pages). Sorry - maybe they're working on it, but don't
count on it being done soon.
Second, .epub files do not convert to .pdf format and vice-versa. The .epub
format is the one accepted by and used by the ebook publishing folks, while
.pdf is a more widely used format for all sorts of documents. Some ebooks
are indeed distributed in .pdf format.
