I'm using a PC (IE6, FF 1.0.5) and your link colours appear as you say they
The visited state is set to green - is that what you mean? - as they would
then always appear so having visited. This would be the same on mac and PC
There are one or two other issues - In FF your links break up and lines
overrun if the text-size is increased. In IE6 "Alumni" has wrapped onto the
second line and simply mousing over any link makes the lines overrun and
You haven't given titles to your pages but you're probably planning on doing

I have IE6 set to ignore font sizes and I see you've used pixels.
Thank you for your help! I went back to the PC and cleared the history in IE6 and my links displayed properly. oops. I didn't mention that so far these are only sample pages, so we haven't named them or anything yet. I hadn't realized I used pixels for my fonts, so I went back in and fixed that. Could you let me know how they look to you now?

Much better, looking good.
Can I mention now that your images are rather large and take a while to
Oakeslogosmall.gif is 63kb
panborderfade.gif = a huge 144kb
smalanapolaroid.gif 36kb (not that large but see below)
Of your 283kb page size, 273kb is images - I believe the recommended size is
around 35kb I blush as I say that because I seldom achieve it).
Is there a reason for using gifs? I would have thought optimizing them using
.jpg would decrease the size a great deal.
Ok, I was able to optimize panborderfade using .jpg, and it is now 21kb. However, the other two images have transparent backgrounds, so (as far as I know) they have to be gifs. Is there any way to make them smaller and keep the transparent backgrounds?
Reduce the number of colors.

>Alright. All three images have been reduced in size. How does the page load
Muuuch better! Congratulations!
Eeek! I've just noticed in FF (not IE6) that your navbar Calendar, Search
etc is in the wrong place, overlaps "essential to our community..." on my
I'm working on the placement of the bottom navbar. It won't stay below the text!!
