When I create a project in Premiere Elements 9, and choose DV Standard 68KHz, the default video settings include the setting "Lower Field First".
However, the videos I am importing are upper field first, so I would like to change the setting.
I see no way to change the setting when I select the preset, and if I create a project, and choose Project Settings / General, the "fields:" option is dimmed out.
Can anyone help me determine how to change this setting please?
You have two options:
1) When you first start a project, you can select the preset for Hard Disk/Flash Drive Camcorders. This will automatically reverse the field order.
2) You can right-click on each clip on the timeline and select Field Order/Reverse Field Dominance.
Just don't do both or you'll reverse your reverse.
