Would this be a Dreamweaver issue rather than a Flash issue since the Flash seems to work fine when in isolation on the server ?
That is exactly the source of your problem, your directory structure. The swf is looking for the asset in 'assets/media/playFCwebBeats.mp3'. I would suspect that this file is elsewhere on your server. Just fix your directory structure and you will be good to go.
I double checked and the mp3 is in - assets/media/playFCwebBeats.mp3 on the server . . .
No, it is not. http://web.me.com/funkcartel/assets/media/playFCwebBeats.mp3 returns error. Note the full path. That is the path the swf is looking for. You have the mp3 located here:
Thanks so much for your help Chris. I moved the Assests Folder as directed and the Sounds now play. As a newbie to CS5 Web Premium I assumed that I should just upload the 'deploy to web' folder 'as is' after being published and everything would be fine. I was wrong . . .
I obviously need to research and learn more about folder structures to avoid repeating this kind of error again.
Do you have any idea why the dotted border line appears at all ?
