Need help making video! Please help

I am trying to put a video together with multiple clips and pictures thrown in there. Hopefully music in the background. ...I can't figure out how to even get started with it. I have managed to upload all videos and pictures to same project, now I need to figure out the rest. Any suggestions on how to get started with this?

      Thank you!

We'd love to help you, but your question is so general I'm not sure where to begin.

Meantime, you can certainly start by checking out my free 8-part Basic Training tutorial series on Premiere Elements support site Muvipix.com.

Then, if you really want to know in-depth how to use the program, my books offer step-by-step instruction for virtually every tool.

Then, if you've got any specific questions, I'm here and on the Community Forum at http://Muvipix.com several times a day -- as are many other helpful people. If you can be specific about what you need to know, we can probably help you.

BTW, if you're going to use photos in your project, be sure to resize them to 1000x750 pixels, per the FAQs to the right of this forum. (But that's all explained in the books too.)

I also recommend Steve's Basic Training Series, plus the various articles and tutorials in his Learning Series, also at Muvipix.com.

He also has a series of great books, and all will prove very helpful.

For a list of resources for anyone using PrE, from the beginner, to the advanced user, this ARTICLE has many useful links.

In addition to the FAQ entries that Steve posted, I also recommend this ARTICLE on large still images, and for Audio, this ARTICLE on MP3's.

Good luck and welcome to the world of video editing,
