    Z68 intel chipset question

    C_BRAUN

Maybe someone knows, but I have not been able to find an answer yet. With  the new z68 chip set SSD caching you can cache a raid. Would this be a  bad thing to do, since you could be bottlenecking your raid drive? I was  thinking of doing a single 4 drive raid 0 with an Intel 510 ssd for video  this seems like a bad idea since while ssd's are great for quick file  fetching they might handy cap sequential read/writes if it all has to go  thru the caching process? Then I am not sure a video file would be cached since the file itself would most likely be to large for the cache system to say it needs to cache? I would like it if it ment smoother raid performance, but am worried it would force the raid to the specs of the SSD drive.

      Thanks,
