What is 'slide'? Is it a movie clip?
It's a flash slide presentation. Maybe the term 'screen' is more exact.
Basically, it's a flash movie structured as nested screens.
Try attaching something like this to frame 1 of the slide that contains the FLVPlayback.
Where it says myFLVPlayback, change that to the instance name that you used for the FLVPlayback. You need to handle both play and stop when the viewer enters and leaves the slide, otherwise if an advance to another slide is made, then the FLV will continue to play (even though it is not visible).
So simple when you know it!
Thanks GWD it works.
I managed to stop playing the FLV when the user goes elsewhere before, so now everything is working great.
I really have to start learning Action Script more seriously.
It seems I only have the time to tinker with it here and there...
I'm trying to do the same thing. Has something from the reply from Greg Dove gone missing since 2007 when it was posted, as there isn't any Actionscript there?
