Sounds like it... Particularly since you said 244 in your header and 260 in your topic. If it keeps on increasing stop it, restart and try again. I've had to do that on stand alone installs of InDesign and haven't had a problem. For future ref you should post your systems specs and OS on a question like this too.
Also indicate a bit more about how you are installing the software. Is it from DVDs or from a download?
Are you on a laptop? You may be getting a false time due to it being slower. When CS5 came out it took 12 minutes on the 8 machines I had to install it on via optical drive.
Good point to all, was about to run late for a meeting so I skimped on the details. lol
Installing from DVD on Windows XP on a Lenovo laptop with intel core I7.
Restarting the installation to see if it works. Will let you know!
I remember CS5 being about 25 minutes or so but it wasn't too bad. I think it just failed in the install. Either way I am just about to the point where it failed the last time so we'll see.
We've previously seen similar behaviour when installing CS4/CS5.
This behaviour was caused by the Adobe Air-installeres being blocked by Windows Firewall.
