I think you need to look into CROPPING a few pixels off each side, so your video correctly scales down (from what?) to the new size
You also may need to look at the PAR of your output... are you use a PAR of .9 or 1.2 or ???
When you export, use the Crop options on the Source tab to trim a few pixels off the left and right sides. Seem counter-intuitive, but what's happening is that Premiere/AME is scaling to the nearest boundary without distorting. If you crop a few pixels from the sides, you'll let the image stretch without distortion until it fits the output frame.
Thanks, John. The PAR setting is Standard 4:3 and I tried cropping both horizontal and vertical settings. Is there a "FIT" setting that will fill the screen or automatically crop the screen regardless of the ratio?
