    pop to a view instantly (no animation)?

      Ive looked at the animate options and tried passing null to it, but it seems to simply use the default animation. Is there way to specify no animation and just instantly pop to the view?

          You should be able to turn off the ViewNavigator's transitionsEnabled property before pushing the view then turning it back on after the push is complete.

          Or you could try providing a custom ViewTransition that has a duration of zero:

              <fx:Declarations>

                  <s:SlideViewTransition id="cvt" direction="left" duration="0" />

              </fx:Declarations>

              <s:Button label="test" click="navigator.pushView(views.NewView, null, null, cvt)"/>
