Adobe, can you PLEASE provide response and solution!
Well, after much browsing these forums- taking several hours of readign and trial and error- I came across one cryptic comment.
The comment: that Adobe Updaters can install an update incompletely so that subsequent updates cannot be installed.
The cure suggested was a total uninstall and then re install
I did that. Used the uninstaller. Then rebooted my Mac. Then re installed from scratch, reentering serial number. THEN the update ran and installed.
So why does Adobe say that with Acrobat X there is no need to uninstall?That wrong advice cost me some good hours of sleep tonight!
