I'm using RoboHelp HTML 8.02.208
I compile my project in both chm and webhelp.
I'm having trouble with an html file that I imported. The file was created from running an xml file against an xsl file and then saved as the html. I have added the xml file to the baggage folder.
One section in this particular topic displays differently in the chm and webhelp formats.
It is a very large list of TOC entries (see <dl> and <dt> entries) at the top of the topic.
In the chm, the list appears in one LONG column that runs along the left side of the page.
In the webhelp, there are three or four columns running across the page, which is much better because more entries appear in less screen space. That is the desired behavior.
I've included an abbreviated section of code. The problem lies in the css display:inline-block. For some reason, the chm is not recognizing it properly. I have IE 8 installed on the system.
Does anyone know why that might be and what to check??
I have very little experience with HTML, so I would really appreciate any help!
Here's the code:
<a name="TableOfContents" id="TableOfContents"></a>
<div class="heading2" style="width:100%;text-align:center;">S-V R8 Cmdlet Reference Guide<br />
Table of Contents</div>
