I have the Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection. What is going on? Can I not use Dynamic Link with the Master Collection? That doesn't make any sense. What am I doing wrong?
That seems to happen to me sometimes too and I do have Production Premimum. I read somewhere that you should deactive the program (HELP > DEACTIVE) and then activate it again. That's supposed to do it. It doesn't work for me. I shut down and restart the computer and sometimes that fixes it. It has just started in the last 2 months.
If the application can't communicate with the Dynamic Link server, it may be because TCP communication has been blocked by firewall software. See this document for suggestions about unblocking this communication:
