My camera uses AVCHD h.264 I have grown tired of my dual core PC not editing this well (working with PrE9) so I am planning to change it for a better one, I can't afford the i5 or i7 computers, but have found this one (below) would I see a big difference from the dual core...
How would these specs be for non-professional home editing of this format?
Dell Inspron 560 MT
Intel core 2 quad core Q8300 Processor (2.50GHz, 4mb cache, 1333MHz FSB)
Windows 7 64 Bit
4BG Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at -1 MHz
1000GB Sata hard drive (7200RPM)
512 NVIDIA Geforce G310
DVD +/- RW Drive (read/write CD & DVD) with DVD Burn software
It should be enough power to edit AVCHD with Premiere Elements 9.
I suppose it would be twice the speed of what ever I was achieving with the dual-core, or possibly even more?...
So in comparison can I assume it would be a much more pleasant experience?
