Filter to make images look like old photo/postcard

    Bramster. Level 1
      Hi all,

I have to colour jpg files and I would both of them to look like an old postcard/photo. One of them has to become black and white and the other has to keep a litle colour.

I browsed te FW filters but could not find a filter that lets me do this. I tried fiddling with various filters but the result was not really nice. Are there any third party filters available to do this ?

Thanks in advance for your help

For the b/w you can use the Sepia Command: Commands >Creative > Convert
to Grayscale or Convert to Sepia Tone.

For Color, there isn't really an in-stock one-click filter, but you can
play around with the Hue/Saturation Live filter. Reduce the saturation
of the image and then try lightening it slightly. This will give you an
airy, pastel look. Reduce the saturation too much, though and you get a
          grayscale image.

There are also many ways to add color to an image using the bitmap
tools. I have a few tutorials on CMX that cover this topic in detail.
