    ApplicationUpdaterUI

    _spoboyle Level 4

      previously i have had the ApplicationUpdaterUI workign with these settings

      appUpdater.isCheckForUpdateVisible = false;
      appUpdater.isDownloadUpdateVisible = false;
      appUpdater.isInstallUpdateVisible = false;

      now i want to user to choose whether they download the update or not so i use

      appUpdater.isCheckForUpdateVisible = false;
      appUpdater.isDownloadUpdateVisible = true;
      appUpdater.isInstallUpdateVisible = false;

      and now no update takes place any ideas?

      I am updating directly via update-descriptor.xml rather than update-config.xml

          this is actually related to my other issue http://forums.adobe.com/thread/873046?tstart=0

          if I include

          addEventListener(Event.CLOSING, onClose);

          private function onClose(event:Event):void
          {
               for each (var window:NativeWindow in nativeApplication.openedWindows)
               {
                    if (!window.closed)
                    {
                         window.close();
                    }
               }
          }

          then the update happens (but i then get the damaged file warning)

          if i remove the above code then i get no update process happening, unless i set the following,

          appUpdater.isCheckForUpdateVisible = false;
          appUpdater.isDownloadUpdateVisible = false;
          appUpdater.isInstallUpdateVisible = false;
