baOpenFile to open folder on a mac

      Hi All,

      Can anybody help me,

Im trying to find a method of opening a folder from within a projector on a mac.

Im currently using barunprogram ("explorer.exe", "foldername", false) on a pc - this works perfectly using the buddy api xtra

I know i have installed this ok on a mac because im using it to access PDF files using the baopenfile comand.

I think i need to open the Finder app on a mac in the same method i have used to open explorer on the pc

this doesnt seem to work - i have also tried the openfile command with no luck either

Is it possible to opena folder on mac from within a projector? - All help most appreciated.

      Thanks - Martyn.

Try baOpenFile("folderName", "normal") on Windows and
          baOpenFile("folderName") on the Mac.

You can also try this, then you don't have to use up one of your buddy api functions... although I use it here just to get the path to the documents folder.

            open basysfolder("personal") with "finder.app"

            Hope this helps....

BTW - it works the same on PC, just replace "finder.app" with "explorer.exe"
