I'm am currently brainstorming on how to go about finding out what swatches are used on EACH spread of an indesign document.
The closest I've gotten as far as ideas go is,
1. to make each spread it's own file,
2. delete unused
3. and what I'm left with will basically be it except for black which I would simply ask the user if it was used.
...If their is a something like a text box that has a story that was linked to a text box on the next spread, then when the first spread is deleted the text from the first spread will now appear on the second spread thus maybe misrepresenting the actual colors used on the second spread.
Anyone already accomplish this task?
Basically what I need is to be pointed in the right direction on how to let the user know if their file is cmyk/k... or k+pms 280/k+pms280......etc.
Anyone have another idea on how to go about this.
Is my question unclear?
