So I created a table of contents from the layout menu, and under Styles to search for I put in the appropriate "Headings", and "Subheadings" paragraph styles for it to populate my list.
However, for some reason InDesign keeps putting Subheadings ABOVE Headings, even though I specified "Headings" as Level 1, and "Subheadings" as level 2.
Anyone know why this is?
I tried clearing all my Paragraph & Character styles and regenerating from scratch, and it still gives me the same problems.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
"Level" means nothing to the order of the lisitngs. All that counts is the position on the page. Frames that are furthest to the left get read first.
