In order to select a line of text after adjusting its baseline or leading, I have to place the cursor and "select" the space previously occupied by the adjusted text, rather than the actual text. At a certain point, this can become pretty confusing. Is there any way to make the cursor orient itself in accordance with the shifted text, rather than to the original static grid?
This would only be happeing if you use baseline shift, not if you are adjusting the leading, and if you use baseline shift, that's the way it works.
May one ask WHY you feel the need use baseline shift to push type around so far that you get confused?
