I had a large InDesign file (CS4) for a directory, which on the final print, one small section lost all of the bold headings. The font was just Times bold, and only one small section of the book had the problem. The name for each business was bolded, throughout the entire book. But on the final print I completely lost all of the bolded names just under my "Accountants" section. When I open my file now all of these names are completely gone, and I will have to go back in and reset all of them. Has anyone else had this issue or have any idea why this would happen, only on 2 pages of the entire book?? Seems like a corrupt font issue, but then why didn't it happen throughout the entire book wherever I had Times Bold?
Is it the only text inthe frame where it is missing? It sounds a little like the frame dimensions shrank and the text went into overset.
How were the text frames set up, as seperate frames, built via a data merge, threaded after a merge or flowed paragraphs?
Hard to think that a style could delete text; have you looked at the text in Story Editor?
