I received a prompt to update my PDF reader to Adobe Reader X (10.1) and when I elected to do so, things did not go as planned. The download failed with an error message:
error 1317 an error occured while attempting to create directory C:\Documents and Settings\ALL users\Start Menu\Programs
Seems the previous version has been uninstalled and I can not view the continuing education module I was working on. I have no advanced computer skills and I really need help to get this resolved!! Thank you!
Does that folder (C:\Documents and Settings\ALL users\Start Menu\Programs) actually exist?
Are you trying to install as an Administrator user?
