Maria964 Jul 11, 2011 3:44 AM (in response to [scott])Thank you Scott for your fast reaply. But this way the text is no longer editable. I want to do that in a way that keeps the text editable....
Is it possible in AI?
Thank you

3. Re: How can I break apart a line of text?
[scott] Jul 11, 2011 4:25 AM (in response to Maria964)Sure. Click with the Text Tool.. type a couple letters..... Hit the escape key... click somewhere else with the Text Tool..... type a couple letters.. repeat until youv'e got all the text you need.
Or if the text is already typed... Use the Text Tool to highlight a couple letters, Edit > Copy, then Escape. Click somewhere with the Text Tool, Edit > Paste. Repeat as needed.
