Have you tried changing directories and then changing back?
I even closed all dirs in the Media Manager and tried to reopen them. No luck. I have no idea how to refresh the Media Magager! If this is a missing feature that is a huge problem.
Anyone from Adobe that can solve the secret?
I tried creating a new folder at the OS level (Explorer) while viewing the parent folder in Media Browser, and the folder list was immediately updated. Can you try that?
That was exactly what I did.
I can see the new folder on the right side of the Media Browser. But it doesn't show up in the "tree-view" on the left side. That is a huge problem because I'm working with P2 media and I cannot open the folder if it is on the right side of the Media Browser. Even if I double click it - nothing happens. So I cannot access my footage if this folder doen't appear in the "tree-view" on the left side of the Media Browser.
This is obviously a bug.
Even if I double click it - nothing happens.
That's weird. It works for me.
Did you try it with P2 footage?
Premiere treats the folder different if there is P2 footage in it.
I don't have any to test. I changed to File Directory view.
You might try the same, and then switch the view back to P2 after you're in.
