Petteri_Paananen Jul 14, 2011 9:01 AM (in response to schwabby2)I´m afraid your only way to avoid that is start your animation outside of page (and change animation mode to "From current Appearance"
That way image flicks but nobody sees that….
If you have to start your animation from inside the page area, I guess you could draw a box filled with background color on the top of you animated object. Then you add two animations intsead of one. First animation fades "mask"box and second one makes the actual animation....

schwabby2 Jul 15, 2011 8:25 AM (in response to Petteri_Paananen)That is what I am using to fix the problem, but I am still left wondering why is it that the "hide until animated" is not working.
Is this a bug? Has it been reported? This is a great time saver and feature that I am glad they have added to InDesign but so annoying that the images flashes first and then it animates......
