Im "helping" out a friend with a video, and we've run into an issue with Final Cut Express HD Exporting to AfterEffects
We're running FCEHD on Mac (obviously) and AE CS4 on PC (Vista)
Every single export we do, importing it into AE, the footage is just a white screen with the audio.
Nothing you can do. Those CoDecs are proprietary and simply not supported on Windows. There is a commercial QT extension for this somewhere, but I doubt you would want to spend money on this. So your only option is to convert them on Mac to something a PC can use, including alternate QT legacy CoDecs liek Animation...
So use, for instance, MPEG Streamclip on Mac to something such as animation. Will this effect the quality of the video? Its intended for broadcast
> Will this effect the quality of the video?
If you convert using a lossless codec like Animation at highest quality, you won't lose any quality.
