Hey guys. I'm developing videos for my company's website and need to know if I should be converting my .MTS files into .AVI or some form of flash. Which would be best for a site like this? www.longfenceandhome.com
The videos are high def but pretty short. Normally between 300mb and 400mb.
Welcome to the forum.
I would contact the Web page's designer, and ask which player they have embedded, or which one they wish to embed, if there is not one already. That will be what will determine your Export/Share.
It could be a Flash Player, and then you would use FLV, or it could be a QT Player, and then you'd do H.264 and probably in either the MP4, or MOV container.
The designer can also give you the pixel x pixel size, that the player requires.
Thanks for your help Bill. I'll contact our web design agency and see if they have any specifications or preferences.
Those specs. will be the determining factors. Once you have those, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to stop back by.
