I am trying to edit a single clip with multiple angles. I only want the audio that matches the current angle that's playing to be played, but the audio from the first angle plays behind every clip. How could I make it so that the only audio that can be heard is the audio of the current angle playing. I shortened each clip of each angle so that they aren't isn't displaying video behind each other (yet the audio continues).
I repeated myself a few times, so that I could hopefully word it where you guys could understand what I'm talking about here. This is only about my third time messing around in AE, sorry. =P
You could split the layer at each cut or you could set audio keyframes. It would be easiest if you used hold keyframes. Just press L to reveal the audio levels.
If it were me I'd do this kind of editing in Premiere Pro or FCP. You shouldn't use AE to manipulate or mix audio unless there's no other way.
Thanks, Rick! I didn't realize that I actually did have a clip playing behind all the other angles, but this helped me also do more than I wanted. Appreciate it.
