In the spark DataGrid GridColumn, I can show data tips and specify the dataTipFunction that generates to text to appear in the dataTip. However, I don't see an easy way to style the data tip. I found a blog post that talks about styling the data tip of the Slider with the dataTipStyleName property, but it seems that this is the only class in the whole flex framework that has this property.
Is there a way of doing this?
I've come up with a solution. By listening for ToolTipEvent.TOOL_TIP_SHOW on the data grid with capture, true the event handler has access the toolTip and can use the setStyle method of toolTip to change the styles.
