Being a CF programmer for 4+ years I'm used to seeing the SQL
that is generated by my Coldfusion apps within the Debugging
section of my web page. Since Flex is using CFCs that run SQL...
how on earth do I see the actual SQL logs that are created
dynamically! Usually I would copy and paste and debug the CF
generated SQL in my DBA app (TOAD) but since I can't actually see
whats going on (other than the SQL in the CFC with variables
awaiting to be passed from FLEX) I am pulling my hair out! Please
I use the CF step through debugger in eclipse and watch the
variables coming into the CFC and watch them get progressed. Would
that solve the issue for you? Just being able to see the CF side of
the action as it happens?
Thanks for the reply. That sounds like it would definitely be
helpful. Although I am suprised there is no SQL log files anywhere
to just copy and paste, but I could manually add the values once I
see them in the debugger.
I installed Flex with the standalone eclipse w/ CF extensions
and am running CF8. Is this included in the CF extensions?
