Keith Moreau Jul 20, 2011 10:09 PM (in response to Howard Hoffman)I had a similar problem. It has to do with Long-GOP media. PPro would have to re-encode the media at the 'chop point.' Would be nice if it could detect the keyframe boundaries and chop there, then just set an edit marker in the sequence.
PPro's media manager could be better.

When you move between segments, there are significant delay (>5 seconds) and disc activiity.
