            Hi Wolf14,

Could you open a bug for this issue over at bugbase.adobe.com and if possible, please include a crash dump with the steps that you took to reproduce the crash?  Here's a good article that describes this process for different Windows operating systems:

            Creating Dr. Watson Crash Dumps

            Thanks,

            Chris

No time to open bug, maybe you guys do it? You getting paid afterall.

              Thanks!

Unfortunately, I'm unable to reproduce the crash.  We'll need the crash log and/or some reproducible steps to help us take action.  Anything you can provide would be appreciated.

                Thanks,

                Chris

How can I provide a crash log?

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, Flash CS4, Adobe air 2.7.

Maybe it's because adobe air runs on 32 bit? I think not but...just an idea.

It crashes when publishing a movie, at random times.

So sometimes it crashes sometimes it doesn't. I think it's because the adl.exe doesn't properly close when you hit the X button on the window, or an Air service doesn't properly close, so if you hit Ctrl Enter to re-publish the movie it conflicts.

I found the following link which explains how to generate a dmp file on Windows 7.

When you generated that, was a .dmp file also created?  If you can send that to me at ccampbel@adobe.com we can go from there.

                        Thanks,

Yes it is 94mb though, I think it contains all the crashes that happened. What you want me to send you on your email?

Do you mind emailing me the latest .dmp?   I'm not sure how much it'll compress, but feel free to zip it if it helps.

                            Thanks,

As I said to Chris via email, seems like updating to Flash CS4 10.0.2 using Adobe Updater fixed the issue.

                                  Thanks again.
