- The files open and play fine in Quicktime
- A message appears when WinFF is converting: "seems stream 0 codec frame differs from container frame rate: 59.94 (2997/50) -> 29.08 (30000/1001)

Steve Grisetti Jul 24, 2011 6:09 AM (in response to Sheep63)You are not likely to be able to edit raw iPhone footage in Premiere Elements.
Your best bet is to purchase Quicktime Pro from Apple ($29) and use it to convert the video to an editable format.
That format depends on whether you're editing on a PC or a Mac, and in high-def or standard def video.
On a PC, the best format to convert to is a standard definition DV-AVI.

Sheep63 Jul 25, 2011 10:20 PM (in response to Steve Grisetti)Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply.
I ended up finding a way to do it with Premiere Elements - I put the footage onto a USB drive and tried to import it. Got a message: "it looks like you're trying to import from a DVD or a removable media. Please use the video importer by clicking the button below".
Clicked said button and all the files imported fine and are completely editable.
