Corner radius can be controlled in the Properties panel when you use the standard rectangle. If you use the Rounded Rectangle autoshape (seen in your screen grab) you can either use the yellow diamond contorl handles or open the Auto Shapes properties panel for numeric control ( Window > Auto Shape Propeties)

Thanks for this tip! I was a bit perplexed this morning still not finding this easily in CS6. Never used the numeric field to round normal rectangles. They are much easier to wrangle with vs. auto shape properties. Really appreciate it.
