    Adobe Reader

      Whenever I try and open a pdf sent to me I get a message that the file is not supported or is damaged.  these are files that are backed up and archived so we can search for them on our servers.

       

      Any help would be appreciated.

          What version of Reader are you using on what operating system. Are you opening the files stored on your hard drive, on a network drive, or are they being viewed through a web browser. If through a web browser which browser (include version number).

            Sorry it was on a shared network drive with version 9.X.  Originally the

            file was archived however we have a way for our users to search a database

            of archived emails and this was one she pulled from the server.  Running

            Windows 7 Enterprise
