I'm working my way through Using Flash Builder from Day 1, and when I tried to switch workspace to the examples I got a warning that there could well be issues with the current version of FlashBuilder and the example projects. I was directed to this page: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/899/cpsid_89996.html
Can anyone tell me if I've just made a mistake, or whether this procedure is necessary for every project? If the latter, it seems a little strange not to provide current example projects for the current version of FlashBuilder, considering that as part of the evaluation process they are, in effect, sales material.
I hope I'm just being thick - don't hesitate to tell me!
Best Regards
Jaffa
Jaffa,
The current project files available for FIAW are fully compatible with the current version of Flash Builder. Please keep in mind that the alert you receive is only a warning. I am sure that the project files will be updated in the future, but until they are we can still use them as they are.
