    htmlText <p>

      simple question, the <p> tag in html leaves a space between</p><p>paragraphs, but it doesn't in flash</p> why not, and can it be fixed or worked around?

          No, in Flash the <P></P> will just insert a linebreak in the string it will not render it as a double linebreak like browsers do. If your HTML will just be rendered in Flash then the workaround for this is to insert a <br> tag after each <p></p> tags that you have. This will give the results you want.

          So you would have it look like this:

          <p>My paragraph text is here</p><br><p>This line of text is 2 lines below the last.</p>
