I got data from webservice. I want to generate pdf using flex. Is there any possibility.
yes, purePDF lib for one.
Or LCDS and LiveCycle Designer
'puerPdf' and 'alivePdf' are useful. But i have to learn a lot for that.
I am looking for any kind of adobe tools. Then only i could get future updates.
I don't want to buy "LiveCycle Designer" for simple pdf generation. In adobe's website they told a lot about LCD which i don't want.
We'd all like to have great Adobe tools to generate PDF files directly from flex, and it's been a frequently asked request for years. Adobe licences technologies that generate PDF files dynamically but they all cost $$, so I don't see Adobe giving high end customers licencing these products a cheap alternative that might bypass that anytime soon. Who knows, I could be wrong, but for the moment, there is no built in Flex support for PDF generation except via server solutions that may cost more than some may wish to pay.
You want a solution that will do everything for you without a lot of effort and you don't want to pay... No you won't find anything. I played with AlivePDF for 1 day. It's not perfect but I was able to do what I tried to do with this library.
, i always ready to work if something is worthy. First i want to find best thing which suits for me. I don't want to miss any good options.
great. after trying Alive pdf and pure pdf, i am finally fixed to use "purePDF" which i feel good. still 2 more days are there for me to start coding. until i will search for the best option.
Finally i dicided to go with purePdf. Thanks for all contributors.
