Need help sending variables in an email

    Welding_Guy
I have a movie where I want to grab two variables after they have been set and send them to myself in an email. Below is the code I have but it is not working. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this? If this isn't possible is there any way I can send the variable information to a text file and have it updated as the variables change? Thanks for the help.

Try replacing all the "add"s with a "+", because:
"This operator is not supported in Flash Player 8 or later." (It's deprecated since Flash 5 ;-)).

When you use getURL with a mailto command, it will open the user's email software, but the user will have to send the mail manually, by clicking send. Many users don't want that... Maybe it would be better to use a webserver that is able to send emails, so the sending can be done in the background, without user interaction. See
http://www.sephiroth.it/tutorials/flashPHP/email/ for a possible way to do this.
