    Flash CS5 CIB Lesson 9

    alreadyenteredname Level 1

      Lesson 9 starts by creating an "actionscript" layer and entering the following code:

      var myLoader:Loader();

      page1_mc.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, page1content);
      function page1content(myEvent:MouseEvent):void {
          var myURL:URLRequest=new URLRequest("page1.swf");
          myLoader.load(myURL);
          addChild(myLoader);
      }

      It automatically adds the following (beginning at line 1), which is not shown in the lesson or the finished .fla:

      import flash.display.Loader;
      import flash.events.MouseEvent;
      import flash.net.URLRequest;

      Running the file at this stage should just load the external "page1.swf" file. Instead it also loads page2.swf thru page4.swf. and displays the following error message:

      Scene 1, Layer 'actionscript', Frame 1, Line 5    1086: Syntax error: expecting semicolon before leftparen.

      Why is it loading the "import flash."? Is this normal?
