How to avoid Conformed Audio in CS5.5 for large files?

I have been an avid hater of the conformed audio files since they were introduced. It's not like my 8 core computer can't mix audio in realtime.

Please Adobe is there ANY way to avoid them? What about for AME? there is no realtime playback in AME so i dont need conformed audio? yet it still makes them?

I need to drop a 322GB 14hour video clip into AME and re-encode it. what a nightmare! I have to wait for it to analyze and create a 9GB CFA file.

There is no reason i should not be able to simply drop a file into AME, pick my preset and click go, should be as simple as that.
