I'm new to inDesign development as well as to actionscript. I'm trying to build an extension that calls a remote API, this API requires authentication. So the first thing the user sees when launching my extension is a login screen.
The problem is that I don't want the users to have to log in everytime they launch the extension, I would like to save their login token somewhere and just load it each time. Is there a way to achieve this, either saving it in a text file, or using something adobe provides?
Thanks in advance for your help.
It doesn't seem that there's a specific mechanism to handle user preferences, so saving it in a xml file will do and works fine.
Useful example on how to do it found there: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/flex/quickstart/articles/xml_prefs.html
