    Bound graphics?

    dryheat1 Level 1

My book layout is almost complete. It's a simple book with 160 pages and some inserted, placed, copied,(whatever the term is) B&W graphics. Do I need to Bind or lock these graphics in place before it goes to the printer?

      Thanks Don

Export a pdf for the Printer - ask what flavor they prefer, or go with Press Quality; that should suffice their needs.

I'm reading between the lines that you don't do this everyday and they may need the ID document to tweak what you have done.

At their request File > Package zip/compress that resulting folder and send that off to them. No need to lock anything, but review any changes they make before signing off.

You should not be sending live files to the printer (IMO). Export a PDF and send that.

I would suggest a call to the printer to make sure you're using the proper settings but for the most part the prebuilt press setting should work.
