1. Re: Keyword Heirarchy
bonalymac999 Aug 13, 2011 9:19 AM (in response to bonalymac999)Solved it.
I created a new child entry for example, I had a number entered as Castle. So I created "Castle misc" as a child keyword under Castle, then selected all the Castle keywords, and in the Keyword list simply edited Castle to "Castle misc"

2. Re: Keyword Heirarchy
ffennema Nov 15, 2011 11:19 PM (in response to bonalymac999)A fairly quick way to find all the images that have a parent keyword e.g. in your case, "Architecture":
- make a selection the first half of all your image folders in the Folders pane on the left and then select all the images within that selection (CTRL +A)
- look in the Keywording pane on the right to see if the "Architecture" keyword is in this selection.
- If not, select the second half of the folders and look in the Keywording pane.
- If it is in the keywording pane, select only the first half of the folders in your current selection and select all the images within that selection (CTRL + A)
- continue this process until you narrow down to the folder(s) and image(s) that contain the keyword that needs to be removed. It's kind of a binary search process...

3. Re: Keyword Heirarchy
johnrellis Nov 16, 2011 10:59 AM (in response to ffennema)A simpler solution that's not at all obvious from the documentation: In the Keyword column in the Filter Bar, click the down-arrow on the right side, and select View: Flat. Now when you select a keyword that has children (e.g. Architecture), you'll only see images that have the keyword proper assigned, not its children.
