I want to have some shockwave files available for downloading
from a web site, but I would like some way for people to pay a
small fee for them. So I would like to restrict the copying of the
movie by users. Is there someway of stopping a director movie from
working (in shockwave format) until something such as a number is
is there someway of making a shockwave movie only work on one
machine, so after it has been registered (or the number typed in)
it can't then be copied from machine to machine.
Crypkey offer a good software protection system that will
hardware lock your software to one machine. It requires the user to
phone you with a code which you then use to generate a key for them
to open the software. Quite expensive though.
