      Hi everyone,
I want to have some shockwave files available for downloading from a web site, but I would like some way for people to pay a small fee for them. So I would like to restrict the copying of the movie by users. Is there someway of stopping a director movie from working (in shockwave format) until something such as a number is typed in?

is there someway of making a shockwave movie only work on one machine, so after it has been registered (or the number typed in) it can't then be copied from machine to machine.

      all suggestions very welcome.

Crypkey offer a good software protection system that will hardware lock your software to one machine. It requires the user to phone you with a code which you then use to generate a key for them to open the software. Quite expensive though.
